In the beginning of time, in an African-looking village, the people believed in miracles, creatures, ghosts, demons and gods of all sorts. The shaman, disturbed by a vision of the mythical monster’s arrival, chooses a young warrior to send on a journey. He needs to complete various tasks and find the White Lady, the only one who can save the village.

The film takes place in an undefined and yet recognisable and universal time and place. It is designed as an epic humour-imbued fairy-tale, a parody of stereotypes used in several genres, from fantasy to horror and drama. On the other hand, this film demonstrates completely new and open relationships, the ones that do not question different races and genders or their roles.
An unorthodox quality of this film, at the same time extremely welcome, even today, is role division. Although the warrior hero is a man, not to brave, but definitely the best and most conciliatory in the village, the storyline is resolved by a woman – perseverant, determined and bold.
